Chrinnenhorn

Those who have not stressed their comfort zone too much on the way up to the Gleckstein hut can confidently venture onto the steep paths to the Chrinnenhorn.

There you can expect a beautiful, airy summit with a breath-taking view over the Swiss midlands. Difficulty T4 on the alpine hiking scale.

Hut track

The ascent to the Gleckstein hut is one of the most impressive mountain trails! The hike requires good basic physical contition and fitness, as well as sure foot. The path is often narrow and secured with wire ropes at exposed areas. However, there are no climbing spots! We recommend this track only to people who are free of giddiness. Families with children under the age of 10, we advise to secure them with a rope.

Beesi Bärgli

The excursions to Beesi Bärgli are impressive and challenging alpine trails to the Upper Glacier!
In the early morning, still in the dark night, those paths lead the climbers to the upper Glacier, the starting point for the tours to the Rosenhorn, Bärglistock, Schreckhorns or Gwächta. In the past there was only the "upper" way. In the 1980's, the glaciers advanced and ice strikes threatened the tracks.
The former hut keeper, Hans Kaufmann, spared no effort to create a lower path.
Today, both paths can be followed well and can also be done as a round trip.

There are exposed areas on both paths, which require great caution. There are some easy climbing sections and good sure-foot is required.

The alpine hiking trail starts right behind the hut at the information board and is marked in white-blue-white.
The lower Beesi Bärgli-path turns half-right.
The upper Beesi Bärgli-path first follows the path in the direction of the Chrinnenhorn and then turns right after 100m.
